2. Visiting the website and server logs
When you visit this website, the hosting provider processes connection data needed for its technical operation. This may include your IP address, date and time of access, requested file or URL, referring URL, browser type and version, operating system and HTTP status code.
Processing serves the secure, stable and reliable provision of the website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and functional operation of this website. The hosting provider receives this data. Logs are deleted once no longer needed for these purposes, unless statutory retention obligations or security reasons require longer storage.
3. Contact by phone or email
If you contact us by phone or email, we process your contact details and the information you provide to handle your enquiry. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to steps prior to entering a contract and contractual matters. Other enquiries are handled under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding appropriately.
Email sender and recipient details, technical delivery data and message content are processed by the hosting and email providers involved. Data is deleted after the enquiry is resolved, unless contractual or statutory retention obligations apply.
4. Enquiry form and guided assistant
The form and guided assistant let you submit your name, telephone number or email address, optional vehicle and location details, enquiry type and a short description. Assistant entries remain in the open page’s memory until you explicitly submit them. They are not stored in URLs or persistent browser storage.
After submission, the information is transmitted to the web server over HTTPS and forwarded by email to the business mailbox of KFZ-Gutachter Dimkas. The website does not maintain a separate database of enquiries. An invisible form field and a temporary request limit help prevent automated misuse. A hash derived from the IP address and protected with a random server key, together with a counter, is stored on the server to enforce a one-hour request limit. Expired counter files are deleted on the next valid form submission. This is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in operating the form securely.
Enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR when they relate to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding. Recipients may include the hosting provider and email service providers. Information is deleted when the enquiry is resolved, unless contractual or statutory retention obligations apply.
5. External fonts and videos require consent
This website can load fonts from Google Fonts and videos from Pexels, but only after you expressly agree in the privacy settings. Without consent, system fonts and static images are used.
If you agree, your browser connects to Google or Pexels servers. Technical information including your IP address, browser and device information, time of access and requested resource is transmitted. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect using “Privacy settings” at the bottom of the page.

6. Saving your privacy choice
To avoid asking on every page visit, the website stores your choice under “dimkas_cookie_consent_v2” in your browser’s local storage and in the technically necessary “dimkas_consent_v2” cookie for a maximum of twelve months. These records serve only to apply and record your choice. The legal basis is Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. You can change your choice at any time using “Privacy settings” at the bottom of the page, or delete website data in your browser.
7. External links to Google Maps, Instagram and carVertical
This website only links to Google Maps, Instagram and carVertical; maps and social media content are not embedded. Only when you follow a link do you leave this website and the provider receive technically necessary connection data. The respective provider is responsible for subsequent processing.
carVertical is linked as an external partner offer. Advertising images are served locally; no carVertical scripts, tracking pixels or embedded services are loaded. Following the partner link sends its attribution parameters to the external provider. Dimkas may receive a commission on purchases. 8. No analytics or marketing services
This website currently uses no audience analytics, profiling or personalised advertising. The website operator does not set analytics or marketing cookies.

Personal data is disclosed only where necessary to handle your enquiry or operate the website, where legally required, or where you have consented. Recipients may include hosting and email providers and, with your consent, the external content providers named above.

12. Providing data and automated decisions
There is no contractual requirement to provide personal data merely to visit this website. We do need the necessary contact details to handle an enquiry. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
